Call us now: (855) 219-3333

Many know that Bankruptcy immediately stops foreclosure sales, wage garnishments and harassing bill collectors.  But few people know that in many cases, credit scores will actually improve once you file.

Filing for bankruptcy can also wipe out:

  • Business debts, Civil court judgments against you and unpaid Medical bills.
  • Post-Foreclosure mortgage debt and eviction holdover damages.
  • Income taxes, including penalties over 3 years old.
  • Social security overpayments and Veterans assistance loans and overpayments.
  • Student Loans, if they are from private lenders and you can show hardship.

How much is the cost?

Chapter 7  base price is $995.00 plus the court filing fee and credit counseling certificate (no Real Property owned).  For most people filing Chapter 7, this is what our fees will be. No surprises!  (There are additional for joint filings, emergency filings*, real property owned, or if you own a business.)

A Chapter 13 base upfront** price is $2,495.00 plus filing fees and credit counseling. (note: additional for joint filings, emergency filings*, multiple Real Properties owned or if you own a business.)

Chapter 7

Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a “Liquidation,” designed to wipe out your Unsecured Debts (such as credit cards) in an expedited manner, usually less than three months. If you have a failing small business and you want to terminate it with minimum liability to yourself, Chapter 7 would also be appropriate.  Serving clients throughout Southern California, our Attorneys make court appearances in Ventura, the Inland Empire, Orange County, and the rest of the Greater Los Angeles Area. Whether filing a simple personal Chapter 7 or properly dissolving a small business, we can help.

Chapter 13

Chapter 13 is a “Reorganization,” which is designed primarily for homeowners who’ve fallen behind on their mortgage payments, but currently have enough income to make the regular mortgage payments as well as a little extra to pay back the missed payments over the 5 year life of the Chapter 13 Plan.  Besides stopping foreclosures, we can wipe out second liens, stop wage garnishment, litigate fraudulent liens, and more. We take pride in aggressively protecting our clients through a Chapter 13 filing.

Chapter 11

Chapter 11 is a “Reorganization” bankruptcy for individuals with over a million dollars in debt and/or troubled businesses that wish to remain in business.  There are many advantages to Chapter 11, including the ability to “cram down” loans on underwater properties to the current fair market value, surrender hopelessly troubled assets, and terminate or re-negotiate burdensome contracts. Chapter 11 Bankruptcy filings can be very complicated and require a Bankruptcy firm that is prepared to handle these complex cases. We have the bankruptcy expertise to get your Chapter 11 Bankruptcy confirmed.

  • Besides our experience and success filing bankruptcy cases, we have civil litigation and debt negotiation experience that other bankruptcy firms just don’t have!
  • Whether it’s a simple personal chapter 7 bankruptcy, a chapter 13 bankruptcy to stop a foreclosure, or a complex chapter 11 corporate reorganization, our staff takes the time to patiently explain each issue with you and make sure you understand everything we are doing.
  • We make the process efficient and effective.
  • Our dedicated attorneys and paralegals give you personal attention.
